1. Use, performance and characteristics
Flat gate valve is a kind of gate valve, and like the wedge gate valve, its main function is to control the on-off of the pipeline, rather than to regulate the flow of media in the pipeline. The advantages of flat gate valve are small fluid resistance, labor-saving opening and closing, short structural length, and no restriction on the flow direction of pipeline medium. The disadvantage is that the sealing pair has two sealing surfaces, the processing is more complicated, the cost is high, the opening and closing time is longer, and the relative friction between the sealing surfaces when opening and closing is easy to cause abrasion.
Second, the structural characteristics of the flat gate valve
1. The valve seat adopts a floating valve seat structure with a shaped sealing ring sealing ring and preload applied to make the valve inlet and outlet sealed in both directions, and the opening and closing torque of the structure is only that of the ordinary valve, which can easily open and close the valve.
2. The valve seat is inlaid with stainless steel (or cobalt-chromium-tungsten alloy) on the sealing surface, which has the double sealing of metal and metal-to-metal, and the sealing surface has the effect of removing the dirt of the ram at the same time.
3. For the metal-to-metal sealed valve, the outside of the valve body is equipped with a grease injection structure, and the grease enters the sealing surface of the valve through the grease injector and valve seat, so that the valve reaches zero leakage.
4. The ram with the diversion valve is always consistent with the sealing surface whether it is fully open or fully closed, and the sealing surface is protected from direct erosion by the medium, so as to prolong the service life.
5. When the plate gate valve is fully opened, the channel is smooth and straight, the flow resistance coefficient is very small, there is no pressure loss, and the pipeline can be cleaned through the wool ball.
6. The flat gate valve adopts a packing structure with self-sealing ability, which does not need to be adjusted frequently, the opening and closing are extremely light, and the sealing is reliable, and the packing box is equipped with an auxiliary sealing grease injection structure, the sealing performance is absolutely reliable, and the leakage is truly achieved, which solves the shortcomings of the most easy leakage at the packing place of the general valve.
7. When the flat gate valve is closed, the high pressure in the inner cavity can be automatically removed to ensure the safety of use.
8. Fully enclosed structure, good protection performance, can adapt to all-weather requirements.
9. The flat gate valve is equipped with an indicator rod or an observation window to indicate the opening and closing of the valve.
